Rituals ... The Ritual of Sakura
Hello! This is my first post on this blog and I am really excited to be finally posting. I will be posting all sorts - beauty, fashion and lifestyle related. Make sure to follow me on all social media links as well as this blog itself so that you don't miss out on what is to come in the future. But onto the post itself, today I will talking about a new range of products that I have tried out recently and what my thoughts are on them. So, I did recently turn 19 on the 9th of December and this was a gift from my sister-in-law and I really appreciate the thought and love behind it. She knows I love beauty related stuff and I'm all about my skincare and bath time goodies.
I had not previously tried anything from Rituals and I had very little knowledge about their items. I had heard about their brand but just never had the chance to try out their products. The brand believes in experiencing life with joy and finding happiness in the smallest things. They do all kinds of body products such as body scrubs, shower gels to home products such as candles and teas.
So this is the Sensational Foaming Shower Gel which is sold for £8.50 and contains the fragrance organic rice milk and cherry blossom. This is my go-to shower gel at the moment. I love anything that foams because it just feels more luxurious and rich. The fragrance is the best part because it truly does remind me of spring and nature. The texture of the shower gel is also very creamy and feels very moisturising. I didn't realise how much a shower gel can make a difference because before I would just say it's only a shower gel I'll use anything they all do the same thing but that is not the case. This makes a shower much more enjoyable and leaves your skin feeling smoother than ever before.
The next product in the gift set was the Sugar Body Scrub enriched with organic rice milk and cherry blossom which is priced for £19.50. Now this may come off as one of the more pricier items but I can guarantee you it is worth every penny. It is extremely important to exfoliate your body once or twice a week in order to remove impurities and dead skin allowing the growth of new healthier skin. I use this product once a week and it has made such a difference to my skin already. It feels so much smoother and this is visible as it leaves my skin glowing. All you do is rub the sugar into the skin and you will see instant results. I have to say out of the whole collection this is hands down my favourite product and I will be repurchasing this again when I've used it up.
This is the Sakura Body Cream enriched with organic rice milk and cherry blossom which is priced for £19.50. It is quite highly priced which is understandable as it is high quality and feels much more luxurious. It is extremely moisturising and leaves my body feeling smooth. As you can see in the photo it is definitely creamy. It also complements the shower gel and leaves me smelling sweet. However, you can get body creams for nearly everywhere that do almost the same thing for half the price so I'm not sure if it is worth it.
Lastly, to finish off with the Ritual of Sakura bed and body mist once again enriched with organic rice milk and cherry blossom and is priced for £16.50. It goes well with all the other products as it keeps the fragrance going and I am telling you scent is worth it as is refreshing, light and sweet. You can also spray this onto your bed leaving your sheets smelling the same. After this, I won't be using the Victoria Secret body mists as this is much more classier.
Rituals have really impressed me and I will be trying out more products from them. Have you tried anything by them or do you plan to? Let me know what you think.
